Back to Poetry--Letters, We Hardly Knew You...
This blog post will be a series of screenshots that I took on my Iphone to record my thoughts in real time. It is not edited, and serves as a poem. Notice: I said I would begin sharing my posts as letters to my readers. Well, I am pivoting back to poetry. I once shared my poetic thoughts online like on social media and such, but social media became a strange place. And quite frankly, I lost touch with my poetic leanings. But they have been restored and are useful in helping me get stuff of of my mind and heart. Not that you should care or anyone should care really. I was telling a brother of mine, a DJ, last night, that I am pivoting in my mentality from one who never wanted to be forgotten to once already dealing with the reality of being forgotten, both now and after death. This feels more real and liberating than the inflated sense of immortality and importance I was carrying around. This sense that I am doing something that will last. I am not. It's just my time while I am alive to embrace it, so more of that and less of be a big star, be remembered, change lives kinda thing. Anyway, here is the poem:

*I just find him to be the most disrespected and forgotten figure in...*
*the world...*
